Golden Opportunity
The Hong Kong International Jewellery Show is glowing
brighter and growing bigger than ever. In 2005, the show
reaffirmed its status as a global event by attracting a
total of 26,753 buyers from 124 countries and regions, a 7%
increase over the previous year.

More importantly, overseas buyers made up more than half
the number, with 14,484 arriving from all corners of the
globe. This represented an impressive 18% jump over 2004,
ample evidence that the show offers the perfect opportunity
for exhibitors to showcase their latest designs to buyers
from Asia and around the world.

Thematic Gems
The show is divided into different themes, offering buyers
greater sourcing convenience. By constantly refining the
exhibit categories, the organizers also make it easier for
exhibitors to reach their target audience.

 Special Highlights:

Le Salon Extraordinaire is a sparkling showcase for luxury
jewellery, providing exhibitors an extraordinary
opportunity to showcase exquisite and unusual pieces of
great value.

Designer Jewellery Galleria is growing in popularity and is
the Ideal setting for both rising stars and established
professionals to display their distinctive creations in an
elegant environment.

For the fourth consecutive year, the show will feature a
Watch & Clock Pavilion. It is the perfect complement for
jewellery buyers who are also on the lookout for watches

In 2005, the show launched Les Salons Prives (LSP), an
area offering both privacy and convenience for exhibitors
to meet with their buyers. An instant hit, the LSP will
return in 2006.

To make sourcing even easier, Hall 5, Hall 7 and Grand Hall
in 2006 will focus on specialized categories. Hall 5 will
be home to Diamonds, Precious Stones & Pearls while Hall 7
will display Fresh Water & Cultured Pearls and the Grand
Hall will showcase Semi-Precious Stones.
